The Cheonhajangsa Ssireum Competition, which will determine the strongest wrestling player in Korea this year, will be held in Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do.
According to Yeongam County on the 13th, the '2024 Cheonhajangsa Ssireum Festival', hosted by the Korea Ssireum Association and organized by Yeongam County Sports Council and Yeongam County Ssireum Association, will be held at Yeongam Indoor Gymnasium from the 25th to December 1st.
This competition, where 39 teams and 1,000 wrestlers from across the country gather to compete on a sand ring, is considered the true pinnacle of wrestling in Korea.
Starting with the elementary, middle, high school, and college divisions on the 25th, the 'Men's Weight Class Tournament' will be held, including Sobaek 72kg and under, Taebaek 80kg and under, Geumgang 90kg and under, and Halla 105kg and under.
There will also be a 'Women's Weight Class Jangsa Tournament', 'World Special Jangsa Tournament' for Plum (under 60 kg), Chrysanthemum (under 70 kg), and Mugunghwa (under 80 kg), and a 'Cheonha Jangsa 스포츠토토사이트 Tournament' for 140 kg and under.
Anyone who visits the Cheonhajangsa Ssireum Festival stadium can watch the matches for free on a first-come, first-served basis.
Various events, including a prize draw, were also prepared for fans who visited the stadium.
